WHO CAN ATTEND?

The activities of Pronto Seminars are available to healthcare providers and clinicians (physicians, therapists, social workers, nurses), family, business and community leaders and their family members.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START?

All programs start with a Welcome Reception at 7pm on the first day of the seminar. The Welcome Reception is integrated into the whole program and attendance is mandatory for CE credits. The Reception will provide antipasti and beverages. The introduction usually wraps up around 9pm; time enough to enjoy dinner on your own if you wish.  We suggest that you arrive at least a few hours before the Welcome Reception in order to check into your room and refresh for the evening. Many people arrive a day or two early.

CAN MY PARTNER/SPOUSE ATTEND THE SEMINAR OR WORKSHOP?

Yes, we encourage family members to register and participate in the workshops.

IF I STAY AT THE VILLA BEFORE AND/OR AFTER THE SEMINAR, IS THE SAME PACKAGE RATE AVAILABLE?

No. However, the Villa Zuccari usually offers preferred rates to our participants (lower than posted rates).

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE VILLA IS FULLY BOOKED?

In this situation, contact us immediately and we will send you a list of nearby accommodations.

WHAT IS THE NEAREST AIRPORT?

The nearest international airport is Rome Fiumicino (FCO). If you are flying from Europe, Perugia (PEG) can be a convenient option.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO BOOK THE VILLA?

The Villa is offering our group a preferred rate, which includes a full breakfast and lunch and other amenities. These are not available through the Internet. ARE MEALS AND/OR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?

Registration includes tuition, all course materials, and the Welcome Reception. The special Villa rates are paid directly to the Villa and include breakfast and lunch.

SHOULD I RENT A CAR?

Yes, we recommend renting a car if you're up to driving in Italy. The Villa Zuccari is in a rural location and is not within walking distance to the many hill towns that are a short drive away. You can pick up your car directly at any airport.

HOW DO I ARRIVE AT VILLA ZUCCARI BY CAR?

If using a GPS, it is very important that you come to San Luca (Montefalco). San Luca, the location of the Villa, is a suburb of Montefalco. It is a very small town between two other small towns named Fabbri and Cannaiola. Be sure, when entering “San Luca” into a GPS, it is the San Luca for Montefalco. There are MANY cities named San Luca in Italy! If in doubt go to the city center of Montefalco and call the Villa and they will guide you to the Villa!

HOW DO I GET FROM THE ROME (FCO) AIRPORT TO THE TERMINI TRAIN STATION IN ROME?

If you are NOT renting a car, when you pick up your bags in Rome Fiumicino (FCO) Airport, follow directions to the train that takes you to Termini station in central Rome (about 40 minutes away). At Termini station, buy a ticket to Foligno.

WHAT ARE THE CLOSEST TRAIN STATIONS? HOW DO I ARRIVE BY TRAIN?

The most convenient train station near the Villa Zuccari is Foligno (15 km from the Villa). 

Please visit the Trenitalia website, where you can check the time and price for tickets. We recommend that you check the time schedule for trains but purchase your tickets in person at the station. When you arrive in Foligno, you may take a taxi to the Villa (30-40 Euro). If there are no taxis waiting when you arrive at the train station, call the Villa at +39.0742.399.402 and the person at the front desk will make arrangements for your private transport to the Villa (40-60 Euro).

DOES THE VILLA OFFER A TRANSFER SERVICE OR SHOULD I TAKE A TAXI?

If you are NOT renting a car, you may request a transfer IN ADVANCE from the Villa directly or take a taxi from the train station or airport.  We can also help you with transportation. The cost for a private car transfer from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) Airport to the Villa is approximately 200 Euro. We can group participants arriving with similar times to share the cost.

WHAT IF I HAVE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS?

The Villa has accessible accommodations. If you have difficulty lifting your luggage onto a train, you may wish to consider renting a car or requesting a transfer from the airport to the Villa. Transfer requests must be received one week prior to your arrival.

WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

The Villa, with its restaurant, “Le Zuppiere”, makes every effort to accommodate dietary requirements within their farm to table menu. The breakfast provides a large selection of homemade specialties, yogurts, eggs, cheeses, meats, oatmeal and fruits, served buffet style. If you are strict vegan, certain food combinations may meet your needs within a traditional Italian menu. There is an abundance of fresh vegetables, legumes, gluten free pasta and other items on the restaurant menu

CAN I SHARE A ROOM WITH ANOTHER PARTICIPANT?

ARE THERE ANY AFTERNOON EXCURSIONS PLANNED?

We usually plan two excursions for each program.  Previous excursions have included walking tours of Assisi, Spoleto, and truffle hunting with an Umbrian family.
